Club head speed when playing GsPro would be great.  I get the club head speed from my old launch monitor and Zepp Golf 2.  My old launch monitor also has smash factor and it would be good to have, but not critical.  I know GsPro doesn’t need the club head speed for a shot, but everyone would like to have it available.

    +1

Absolutely.  I assumed this piece of data was a given, so when i was getting no data in GsPro, i was very confused.  I would love to hear the companies initiatives on this.

    Thanks.

This data should be in the standard app's driving range.

I agree. I’m getting shots much shorter than expected. I’d love to know if it’s my club head speed or contact.

Eric - Me, too.  But, I think it’s mostly me.  We can’t play in the winter and I don’t have my full distances yet out on the real course, either.  Driver and 3W are noticeably short when playing GsPro.  I’m also used to playing at high elevation which is an adjustment with most courses being near sea level.  I’m new to garage simulator golf and just started using the Square late January.  I play SGT tournaments, so no boost percentage is allowed.  Distance is a different topic lol.

    Hey James:

I’m happy to say I’ve had a breakthrough tonight.

By swinging inside-out and staying down on the ball, my yardages have recovered. Using the square is awesome because I can aim for a few degrees inside-out and tweak my swing by seeing the results of staying down on the ball. Staying down added about 4 mph to my speed and the slight draw spin added more so I went from 130 yd 9 iron to 145yd.

Estimate club head speed by dividing ball speed by 1.5.  Ex: 150 ball speed is 100 club head speed.

Dividing ball speed by 1.5 to estimate club head speed assumes a perfect smash factor. Rarely would you have perfect transfer. When using my Rapsodo, I would have a smash factor of 1.3 to 1.4 on good hits. It is probably safer to use 1.3 or 1.4 to estimate club head based on ball speed.
