No side spin calculation

My SquareGolf sim and app is not calculating, measuring and showing side spin.  I use the marked balls.  Support is MIA.  Any ideas?

  Set side spin setting to Measurement.  I think the default is Calculated.  The default should probably be Measurement or even better be automatic with marked ball detection and no setting be needed.

  I was having the same problem.  No side spin in Square golf App or GS pro.  I needed to update the OS (not the firmware) on my square golf device.  

  It's something that doesn't happen via the square golf apps, you need to download the installer and then plug your launch monitor into your PC and run OS update app, which you can download here:  https://www.squaregolf.com/support → OS Update program.

  After I did this update, with the latest firmware + OS Update my spin came back.

  This combonation of factors was also missed by Square support.  But, my GS PRO connector was throwing a subtle warning message.
