Starting to wonder if I made the wrong purchase
Seeing the pace of improvements with the Rapsodo, I'm starting to wonder if I made the wrong purchase. It's been a while since we've seen any update in the app or capabilities of the monitor. Beginning to be disappointed.

In was excited to see an update was available… until I’ve realized they didn’t really update much.

I would rather have a stable launch monitor that works than a flakey one. I've owned the Rapsodo MLM2Pro for a year now. My unit reads 10% of practice swings as actual shots (WTF). Does not read short chip shots half the time. It doesn't register putting. You have to go into their app and authenticate every day you want to play GSPro. You get to pay a subscription yearly. Despite all this, I still love the Rapsodo hardware and features that actually work and glad I've had it for the last year and feel I got my moneys worth but will not be renewing the yearly subscription due to the nagging issues mentioned. The Rapsodo camera/playback features are good and being able to take to the range is good so if you want more features I'd recommend getting one to complement your setup but I would not rely on it alone, especially for sim golf.

Thanks for the perspective, it’s helpful.
I guess I just wish it felt more like Square was investing in improving the software and the experience.

I have been keeping an eye on Square for a bout a year. I think they have made some pretty good progress in their software offering in that time. Much of the complaints in the software early on have been addressed. You are trying to compare a product that has been out for 1 year to products that are 5-10 years old.
