Terrible product - Can't return it
I bought the launch monitor a few months ago and I immediately had problems with it not consistently reading hits. During a round of 18 holes, there were probably 10-15 times when it wouldn't read the ball after striking it (even though the indicator said ball was ready). I thought may have been just me but I played with some friends and they had the same issue. I tried all the trouble shooting and still the problem persisted.
Here is the real frustrating part. After owning it for about 10 days, I started the return process. I emailed them and they responded a few weeks later. They asked for proof of purchase (which I provided) and then they transferred my communications to someone else. Long story short, I've been trying to return this product for over 2 months and no one is responding to my emails.
Avoid this product at all costs.

Keep it. I think no reads are usually an environment or set up position problem. Watch JLag videos on YouTube of him playing with the Square to see a good example of a sim environment. The Square likes to see one piece of turf or similar turf and it’s best to have nothing seen along the wall. Nothing reflective. Also, use a black rubber tee for driver. I have a black curtain, putting style turf I stand on, and dark green artificial grass on the ground. I have the Square on a leveling stand with adjustable height.
Try out the swing stick inside. I had fun playing GsPro inside sometimes when I first got the Square before I permanently set up the garage.0 -
By the way, for those playing GsPro, if the 8 red sensors don’t come back on after a shot just hit the K key (club up). Works every time for me to get the Square ready for another shot. I think this is only a problem with the official built in connector and this happens maybe a couple times per round if any.

Ok, I have news, I am getting my bank involved. I am disputing the purchase and have provided screenshots from this site. As proof that support does not exist, I am over Square Golf and ready to get a refund for my $$ and move to another Launch Monitor. This has been the craziest experience I have ever had with vendor and fell for anyone that purchases the unit.
