Keeping Your Square Golf Device Up to Date

To ensure optimal performance and access to the latest features, it's essential to keep your Square Golf Launch Monitor and associated software up to date. Regular updates enhance accuracy, improve functionality, and maintain compatibility with other applications.

Checking for Updates

1. Open the Square Golf App: Launch the app on your device.

2. Access the Notification Tab: Tap on the Notification tab within the app.

3. Check for Updates: Any available firmware or software updates will be listed here.

4. Verify Current Version: To see your current software version, navigate to the Settings section of the app.

Downloading and Installing Updates

For Firmware and Operating System (OS) Updates:

1. Download Updates:

   • Visit the Square Golf Software page.
   • Download the latest OS Update and Firmware Update to your PC (Windows 10 or 11).
   • Unzip the downloaded files.

2. Connect Your Device:

   • Use a USB Type-C cable to connect your Square Golf Launch Monitor to your PC.
   • Power on the device.

3. Install Updates:

   • Navigate to the OS Update folder and run SQG_OS_Update.exe.
   • Then, go to the Firmware Update folder and run SQGFWUpdate.exe.

For Square Golf App Updates:

• Android (version 10 or later) & iOS (version 13 or later):

  • Open the app on your device.
  • If an update is available, you'll be prompted to install it.

• Windows PC:

  • Download and install the latest version (e.g., Version 1.3.3) from the Square Golf Software page.
